Do All Scottish Women Look the Same from London?

You could be forgiven for thinking that a Guardian story on Johann Lamont’s resignation, it it had to carry a picture of anyone, would carry a picture of Johann Lamont.  Especially if that story had as its focus the Labour Party’s ignorance about its (former) Scots heartlands.   After all, if the Guardian couldn’t even identify the Scottish Labour leader, we’d be entitled to claim they were suffering from exactly the same problem as their writer was pointing out vis-á-vis the Labour Party.

Oh, they are.
